Napa Painting to be Shown in Arizona Watercolor Association Exhibition
I just received great news! My "Taste of Napa" painting has been selected to be shown in the 2014 Arizona Watercolor Association Fall show. It was juried in and will be shown throughout the month of October at the Peoria City Hall Art Gallery.
"A Taste of Napa" is a 22" x 30" watercolor on Arches 300 lb paper. It's a special one, borne of an anniversary trip in Napa. We ran across a quaint little vineyard at Heitz Cellars, which featured a beautiful patio in the back with a nice water table feature, wonderful wine, falling wysteria and a fantastic view of the valley beyond. A rustic bench and table added ambiance to this perfect little spot to savor a perfect glass of cabernet.
This is my first juried work, and it means a lot to me to be recognized by the wonderful watercolor artists that I guess I can officially call my peers. :)
